Rev. Maneswar Das is the Executive Secretary and Director of Eternal Life Fellowship Society. In the theme “PYAYAS” (Endeavor) is the origin and history of the Eternal Life Fellowship Society (ELFS) something special to say about founder Rev. Maneswar (Manas), whose inspiration was his own struggles in the early years of his life. He did not grow in family nor cared in orphanage but grew up himself. He did not go to school and college but educated himself. All throughout of his life since early childhood has been in a great “prayas” (endeavor) to make life different. Scripture quoted above, the child grow under the care of parent and elder, but for Maneswar (Manas) very unfortunate that had none to train (teach). A big question who gave him birth, who is his parent, who gave him a name, who dropped him where, what is his home language to speak or societal culture for him? But by endeavoring (prayas) earned his own name. One of the scenes unforgettable till now, in the childhood in hungry stomach did not know how to beg food so he used to pickup and eat thrown away leftover food from drain outside of boundary wall a dog also eating with him. Without family or anyone to care for him, he was left to feed himself on the streets. He began going from house to house asking for work be paid with only simply the family’s leftover food till 13-14 years of age.
